1. What is the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK)?

The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) has been implemented since 1997 to provide Korean language learning directions to overseas Koreans and foreigners whose native language is not Korean, and to spread Korean language to the world.

This test measures and evaluates Korean language proficiency, and the test scores are used for various purposes such as studying abroad at Korean universities, getting a job at a Korean-related company, and obtaining a Korean residence visa.

2. Seattle Korean Education Center 2025 Test Schedule and Implementation Plan (based on Pacific Standard Time PST)

◈ The Seattle Korean Education Center conducts the Korean Language Proficiency Test twice a year.

First Half of 2025 Test Date: April 12, 2025 (Saturday) – Bellevue

Second Half of 2025 Test Date: October (Application Guide Scheduled for August)
