[홍보] 제580회 한글날 기념 시애틀한국교육원 공모전 개최 안내(접수 10/6까지)

다가오는 한글날을 맞아 시애틀한국교육원에서는 한글의 아름다움과 소중함을 함께 나누는 한글날 계기 공모전을 개최합니다.

우리가 마음속 이야기를 글로 쓰고, 소중한 사람에게 마음을 전하며, 아름다운 문장을 통해 서로의 생각과 마음을 나눌 수 있는 것은 우리에게 한글이 있기 때문입니다.

한글은 단순히 생각을 적는 글자를 넘어, 우리의 마음과 이야기를 세상과 이어주는 아름다운 다리가 되어줍니다.

이번 공모전을 통해 한글로 자신의 이야기를 써 내려가고,  좋은 문장을 한 글자 한 글자 되새기며 한글이 지닌 아름다움과 힘을 발견하는 시간이 되었으면 합니다.

누구나 자신의 생각을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있도록 세종대왕이 만든 한글처럼, 여러분의 마음속 이야기와 따뜻한 생각이 한글을 통해 더욱 아름답게 피어나기를 기대합니다.

• 공모 주제: 한글로 담아낸 나의 이야기
• 참가 대상: 시애틀한국교육원 관할지역 내 한글학교 및 한국어반 학생
• 공모 부문: 한글학교 저학년(K-3) 그림일기 / 한글학교 고학년(4-) 편지쓰기 / 한국어반 좋은 문장 필사
• 접수 기간: 2026/9/11(금)~10/6(화)
• 심사 일정: 2026/10/7(수)~10/8(목)
• 결과 발표: 2026/10/9(금)

• 시상 내역: 각 공모 부문별 최우수상 1명, 우수상 1명, 입상 3명 (총 15명)

In celebration of the upcoming Hangul Day, the Seattle Office of Korean Education is pleased to host the Hangul Day Contest, celebrating and sharing the beauty and importance of the Hangul.

We use Hangul to write down our thoughts, express our feelings to those we care about, and share our ideas and emotions through meaningful words and sentences. All of this is possible because we have Hangul.

Hangul is more than simply a writing system. It serves as a beautiful bridge that connects our thoughts, feelings, and stories with the world around us.

Through this contest, we hope students will have an opportunity to express their own stories in Hangul, reflect on meaningful sentences word by word, and discover the beauty and power of the Korean language.

Just as King Sejong created Hangul so that everyone could freely express their thoughts, we hope that your heartfelt stories and warm ideas will beautifully bloom through Hangul.

We look forward to hearing your stories—written in Hangul, felt from the heart, and shared with others.

  • Upper Grades (4 and above), Korean Language Schools: Letter Writing
  • Korean Language Classes: Transcribing inspiring sentences
• Submission Period: September 11 (Fri) – October 6 (Tue), 2026
• Judging Period: October 7 (Wed) – October 8 (Thu), 2026
• Announcement of Winners: October 9 (Fri), 2026
