[모집 공고] 2025년 키즈 썸머캠프 자원봉사자 모집 안내

시애틀한국교육원은 우리 지역의 초등학생(1~6학년)을 대상으로 하는 첫 번째 키즈 썸머캠프를 개최할 예정입니다. 이 뜻깊은 행사에 함께할 자원봉사자를 다음과 같이 모집하오니, 관심 있는 분들의 많은 참여를 부탁드립니다.

캠프 개요

• 일정: 2025년 8월 5일(화) ~ 8월 9일(토)
• 장소: Newport Heights 초등학교 (Bellevue, WA)
• 봉사활동 시간: 오전 8:30 ~ 오후 4:00
• 오리엔테이션: 7월 25일(금) 오전 10:00, 시애틀한국교육원

모집 대상

• 2025-2026학년도 기준 9학년에 진급 예정인 고등학생 이상, 대학생 및 성인
• 한국어 구사 능력은 필요하지 않으며, 적극적인 참여 의지가 중요합니다.
• 만 17세 이상 성인의 경우, 아이들의 안전을 위해 Background Check(신원조회)가 의무적으로 진행됩니다.

주요 활동 내용

• 전문 교사 및 캠프 강사 보조
• 어린이 대상 프로그램 및 활동 지원
• 간식 및 점심 배식 보조
• 야외 및 문화 활동 준비 및 참여

모집 및 참여 혜택

• 20명 내외 모집 예정 (5일간 전 일정 참여 가능자 우대)
• 자원봉사 확인서 발급이 가능(구글폼에 요청사항을 기재해 주시기 바랍니다).
• 본 캠프는 현지, 경기도교육청 및 전라북도교육청에서 파견되는 전문 교사들이 지도할 예정입니다.

Volunteer Opportunity: Join the 2025 Kids Summer Camp 

The Office of Korean Education is thrilled to announce our very first Kids Summer Camp! We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us for this meaningful experience and help bring Korean culture to life for around 100 children in grades 1-6.

Camp Details

• Dates: August 5–9, 2025
• Location: Newport Heights Elementary School, Bellevue, WA
• Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (volunteer hours)
• Orientation: July 25, 10:00 AM at the Seattle Office of Korean Education

Who Can Volunteer?

• High school students (rising 9th grade and older), college students, and adults.
• No Korean language skills required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help!
• For volunteers aged 17 and older, a background check will be required to ensure the safety of the children.

Volunteer Tasks

• Assist teachers and camp instructors
• Support children during activities
• Help with snack and lunch service
• Organize and participate in fun outdoor and cultural activities

 Additional Details

• We’re recruiting around 20 volunteers. Those with the most availability for the full camp schedule will be given priority.
• Volunteers will receive certificates upon request (please indicate on the Google form).
• Camp activities will be led by professional teachers from the Gyeonggi and Jeollabuk-do Offices of Education in Korea.
