시애틀한국교육원에서 2026년도 재미한인장학기금 장학생 모집이 시작되었음을 안내드립니다.
한미 양국을 잇는 미래 인재를 선발하고자 하오니 많은 관심과 지원을 부탁드립니다.

 

 

 

The Seattle Office of Korean Education is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Korean Honor Scholarship (KHS).

We encourage outstanding Korean and Korean-American students who will help strengthen the future relationship between Korea and the United States to apply.

🎓 Scholarship Overview
• Approximately 71 students will be selected
• Scholarship Awards:

• Outstanding Scholar: $5,000
• Excellence Award: $3,000
• General Scholarship: $1,500

📌 Eligibility
• Full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in accredited U.S. institutions
• Korean or Korean-American students (including adoptees)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Previous KHS recipients may not receive the scholarship again for the same degree program

📅 Timeline
• Application Period: April 27 – June 26, 2026
• Regional Review: June 29 – July 8
• Final Review: July 31
• Scholarship Distribution: After late September

Applications must be submitted to the Korean Education Center or Korean diplomatic mission with jurisdiction over the applicant’s university location.
